Here is a selection of some frequently asked questions about Summer Lodge Country House Hotel & Restaurant for your convenience. All other questions can be sent to us using our Contact Us form.

What major credit cards are accepted?
All major credit cards are accepted including American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, Switch, Delta and Solo.

Is there a dress code?
Dress code for dinner is smart casual. Shorts, sandals and t-shirts are not permitted. Jackets for gentlemen are preferred.

What is the check-in time?
Check-in time is from 3pm and checkout time until 12pm.

When must I check out of the room?
On the day of your departure, please vacate your room by 12pm. Please notify reception regarding a later checkout time if you require it.

Do you offer room service?
Yes, we have 24-hour room service and there is also sombody on duty 24-hours if you need assistance. 

Are you a family friendly hotel?
Yes we welcome families and accomodate children of all ages 

Is parking free of charge?
Yes wehave parking facilities on site and parking is free of charge.

How do I get to Summer Lodge?
Summer Lodge is located in Evershot, Dorset. The nearest train station is Yeovil and we will happily arrange transfers for you in our luxury air-conditioned vehicle to and from here as well as other destinations should you need to. Click here for directions to the hotel.

Can I bring my pet with me?
Pets are welcome in our guest bedrooms and a range of pet beds and menus are available. This can be arranged when making your reservation. Please ensure to give prior notification. Though a deposit is requested upon arrival in case of any damage caused, this will be returned to you at the end of your stay. Find out more about our facilities for pets here.

Do all rooms have internet access?
Yes. The hotel and guest rooms feature a complimentary wireless high speed Internet connection. Guest rooms are also equipped with two analogue telephone lines. This enables you to use the primary number as your direct telephone line and the second line for a fax machine or laptop computer.
