Red Carnation Hotels

From a balmy terrace overlooking South Africa’s sparkling shoreline to an award-winning menu in the heart of a traditional English village, a table at one of Red Carnation Hotels’ fine dining restaurants is undoubtedly the most coveted in town. Not only do we take care in sourcing the finest seasonal produce for our kitchens, but our chefs and serving staff are thoughtfully selected for their unique talents and experience. Here, we reveal our most prestigious fine dining restaurants.

George V Dining Room

Our George V Dining Room was constructed to honour the esteemed monarch’s visit to Ashford Castle in 1905. It has maintained its prestige, and today guests can enjoy feasts fit for royalty in a magnificent, smartly panelled setting beneath sparkling chandeliers. Ireland’s superb natural larder supplies the ingredients for dishes such as freshly shucked Dooncastle oysters and Achill Island lamb.
