Each room is exquisitely decorated in the rich, yet relaxed, Summer Lodge style with fresh flowers, 200-thread-count Belgian linen, and soft bathrobes. There's a cosy gas fire and plenty of discreet technology to keep you connected, including plasma TV and wireless internet.

    Superior Rooms

    Stepping into a Superior Room feels like coming home. The rooms may be richly decorated with fine fabrics, magnificent furniture, and imaginative wallpapers, but they're never less than homely. A Superior Room, with its tranquil views, fresh fruit, home-made shortbread, and twice-daily maid service, puts you at instant ease. This is comfortable, rural living at its most elegant.

  • Principal King

    Principal Room

    No two Principal Rooms are the same. Each has its own distinctive, stately-home or country-cottage style. A Principal Room is luxury on a grand scale with generous king-size bed, soft furnishings, ornate bathroom, and plenty of room to stretch out. You may not want to leave, which is fine because we bring shortbread, fresh ice, and daily newspapers direct to your room.
