Lyme Regis Jazz Festival in Lyme Regis

The town of Lyme Regis will come to life in early July when local bands take to the streets and venues for the annual jazz festival.

For guests staying at the luxury Dorset hotel the Summer Lodge, it is a chance to enjoy a couple of days in the sunshine with some jazz and really get into the community spirit.

The cream of local and international talent will lead the event, including the likes of the Woodroffe School Jazz Band, the Louisiana Joymakers, Tiger Tim's Hot Four and Roy Potts 'Five a Penny'.

Proceedings begin at the sea front with the mayor and town crier officially declaring that the festivities are underway, giving visitors the chance to enjoy some sea air and take in the amazing scenery as well.
