The wonderful parkland and pleasure gardens were laid out in 1720 in the style popularised by landscape architect Capability Brown and rank among Dorset's most stunning attractions.

With 35 acres of formal gardens to explore, couples on a romantic break or families on a day out will have plenty to enjoy, with a maze of small gardens each boasting their own theme, tree trails and lakeside walks.
