Dorchester's Dinosaur Museum is the only establishment in mainland Britain dedicated to the dinosaurs and, this year, it is celebrating its 25th anniversary, making it the perfect time for families at the luxury Dorset hotel Summer Lodge to pay a visit.

Those who make the short 20-minute journey can look forward to actual fossils, skeletons and life-size reconstructions of some of the most fearsome beasts ever to have walked the planet.
