Bridport is home to a vibrant, creative culture and guests at the luxury Dorset hotel Summer Lodge can experience it first hand at the Bridport Open Studios event at the end of August.

Artists from across the town open their studios to the general public, who can see the different elements involved in creating pieces of art and what the inspiration behind them is.

For art lovers, it provides an opportunity to see works from sculptors, furniture-makers, performers and sculptors and what each brings to the creative scene in Bridport.

Over the years, the event's reputation has grown, with many buyers and collectors joining the hundreds of visitors from across the country to experience the best of what Bridport has to offer.
