The sun is slowly beginning to creep from behind the clouds and where better to enjoy all the sunshine than at the luxury Dorset hotel the Summer Lodge, whose picturesque location is even more jaw dropping when bathed in sunlight.

As well as its gorgeous setting, the hotel will help guests unwind and relieve all their tension and stress with the Spa Package, which includes an hour-long full body massage, an Elemis Taster Facial and accommodation in a Superior Room.

With mind, body and soul all refreshed, couples can join local people in a celebration of art, music and culture known as the Beaminster Festival.

Taking place for the 14th time, this year's event promises various productions and performances for visitors to enjoy long into the night.

Highlights of the festival include concerts from piano maestro John Lill, the Bath Philharmonia, the Trusler-Koch Trio and The Armonico Consort and Choir.

The music does not stop there, however, as RSVP Bhangra Music, the Julie Dunn Jazz Trio and the Pasadena Roof Orchestra will add their own unique styles to the celebrations.

In addition, there will be various open-air performances, with the Festival Theatre Players presenting Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice and the Illyria Open Air Theatre Company bringing The Mowgli Tales.
