Event: Cold Blows The Wind in Dorset

In a few weeks from now, The New Scorpion Band will be performing Cold Blows The Wind at a series of venues within reach of luxury Dorset hotel Summer Lodge.
Artsreach reports that from March 13th until March 16th 2008, the folk band will be giving performances of the unique Cold Blows The Wind at Durweston, Halstock, Ibberton and West Lulworth village halls.
Professional acoustic group The New Scorpion Band perform traditional music from Britain and Ireland.
Their repertoire includes so-called theme programmes which feature poetry, prose and music. A concert performed by The New Scorpion Band usually includes five individual vocal pieces and 25 instruments.
Guests of luxury Dorset hotel the Summer Lodge planning to attend a performance of Cold Blows The Wind can expect to hear "magical" ballads and "spooky" stories alongside "enchanting" instrumentals and folk tradition rituals.
The New Scorpion Band is comprised of Robert White, Sharon Lindo, Robin Jeffrey, Brian Gulland and Tim Laycock.
