Luxury Dorset hotel guests can travel to Lyme Regis on February 2nd to see Alaska, a new stage show starring Giles King and Craig Johnson.

Described as a tragicomic Pythonesque riot, the show takes place in the great Alaskan wilderness and casts a sideways look at the pitfalls of being a Bear Grylls-style outdoors adventurer.

Penned by Carl Grose, the play features a killer soundtrack and spectacular stagecraft to accompany the surreal madness of the production, which is made in the spirit of acclaimed Kneehigh Theatre shows such as The King of Prussia and Tristan and Yseult.

The performance gets underway at 20:00 GMT, with tickets costing £10 as standard and £8.50 for concessions.

Book a Quintessential British Experience package at The Summer Lodge Hotel to enjoy a series of perks during your stay, including a Best of English cocktail on arrival, full English breakfasts each morning and a traditional afternoon tea.

Also included in the deal is a three-course dinner one evening and a complimentary book about the sights and sounds of Dorset.
